Cable & Wake Belfast

It’s been a busy two weeks. I got to ride with some friends in Belfast and on Lough Sillan. Then I went back to Cable & Wake in Belfast to do some filming for a Sky TV programme on the Titanic Quarter, followed by another filming session a couple of days later at Wakedock in Dublin…… Finally I flew out here to Xtreme Gene near Cordoba in Spain for some warm weather training. I’ll be here for almost three weeks so I’m stoked about that – best place in Europe to ride!!! Check them out at http://www.xtreme-gene.com/ Details

Wakedock Cable Comp.

The first ever Irish cable competition was held in Dublin in the Docklands at the weekend. The sun shone all day and it was actually hot!. There were 34 riders competing including athletes from the UK and The Netherlands. Brian Deegan and I had great banter doing the commentating and it was a fun day for everyone. I was really happy to somehow take first prize at my first ever cable event and big congrats to Nicole Carroll for winning the Open Women. Well done to Nina and Colin from Wakedock for making it all happen! Details
